I never realized before how true that is. I suddenly feel stupid for always comparing it now, though I do believe Lucas and Peyton would have came back for Brookes wedding.

I have complained before about actors not being good enough, scenes being added, characters not looking right, parts being cut out and numerous other things, but only now that all of the films are finished do I realise how perfect they actually are. They really are the most perfect adaptations of the books, despite everything, and if any big-shot american production company, or any production company for that matter, ever tries to remake them there will be hell to pay.

Remember:

- Hearing your parents say they are tired, don’t want to make dinner and you are all going to MacDonalds was the high light of your life.

- Picking scabs.

- Calling people A-Holes and or “female dogs” and feeling so badass because you were swearing without swearing.

- Waking up early on Christmas morning even though you were exhausted from not being able to sleep the night before.

- Not being able to sleep the night before the first day of school.

- Looking at all of your new “back to school” clothes and supplies like they were cocaine covered in chocolate and two weeks into the school year all of your clothes were stained and your pencil sharpener made all of your other supplies black and dirty.

- Feeling like a badass when you were the first one who rode a bike without training wheels.

- Hearing that you could stay up until 9 meant the night was so much longer and special.

- Preparing to stay awake until midnight on New Years Eve during the day like it was a marathon.

- Giving all of your goldfish the same name.

- Being carefree..
